The smell of sweet orange tea brings me back to reality and once again my eyes slowing open. Right away I'm quick to notice my new enviroment . Gray walls from all sides and bars right in front.
A simple mirror hangs behind me and as I notice my reflectionI see my wild and spring auburn hairout of sorts. Quickly I do my best to make it presentable.
My hazel eyes look worn and baggy. After attending to my apparence finally spotting a old fashion styled purse. Shuffling through the contents for anything that might jog my memory of what happened and who I am. But alas nothing turned up.
Still feeling a little dazed and confused I conciously sit back down on the bench I had awoken from and try to process everything that has happened already.
"Feeling better I see" the voice I heard before says quietly as a I notice a tall man wearing a tan suit and a sheriff's badge quickly realzing he must have been the one who brought me here and that wolf I had seen before must be his master.
His soft blue eyes peer to me with concern and once I quickly realize he was trying to ascertain my well being I quickly give a slight nod of the head.
"Do you remember anything at all before you showed up outside the border of Andersonville?"
"No" I responded in a whisper. Taking the time to notice the rest of his apparence. He was tall , I would say about six feet with short brown wavy hair and a beard that was not full and bushy but fit well on his accompaing face.
He offered me a glass of tea and a cranberry muffin which I gladly took only then noticing my hunger.
"Why am I behind bars? " I questioned him also not sure if I had commited any sort of crime that would warrant the situation.
"I didn't recognize you amongst the normal residences and wasn't sure if you had any prior offenses on your record."
Fair enough I thought but than again I still didn't remember anything .
"Besides Mayor Patterson also requested I hold you until you came to and were able to recount anything ."
" I don't even remember my name"
"Well then we are at a serious impasse cause your not allowed out until you do or at least until we feel comfortable enough to have you walking around the general area."
"But I don't see any harm in letting you out and roam police headquarters " Heck it might even jog your memory." " What do you say?"
"Well anything is better than being behind bars I guess"
With that he put the key in the cell door and let me out to stretch my legs and look around.
