Fairy Tale and Classic Novel Retellings.

Ok so lately my choice of reading material has been Fairy Tale and Classic Novel retellings such as Pride and Prejudice and Red Riding Hood.

I'm not really comfortable with the children's version but at the same time I know I should move on to more adult type retellings and I have found it in abundance from the library and mostly Amazon.

My only question is if these types of novels were ever made into films who might take on the task of making them. As it is I'm scared of AI taking over everything and theaters shutting down due to stubborn streaming services that seem to get worse with price and ads.

Before you ask yes, I do use a few but none of the big ones and when I'm not using those my dvds are always there for me. It's always been my personal choice to have physical copies of items such as film and literature over the electronic choices.

The Internet itself is always helpful but nothing can compare to having something you can hold in your hand and know you will always have it in case you ever need it or want it.

Some prices might be high with these but lately they've been going down greatly.

Let me know what you guys think.

Depending on what type / genre etc, I ‘m pretty content and also take advantage of any book sale they may offer. If it’s something historical, I prefer to research the author and find out if they really do their homework versus someone just out to make a fast buck.
