Hey Larry’s JOTW #194

A young couple were having dinner last night in the boyfriend’s apartment when his cell phone started ringing.

After picking up the phone the girl spotted the name on the incoming call and asked, “ Whose Mary?” In a suspicious tone.

“ It’s not Mary. It’s John” he replied.

The girl’s face told him that she wasn’t going to believe him and so he says, “ Go ahead and answer it!”

So she answers the phone and it is indeed John. Handing the phone over she then asks, “ How come the phone said Mary?”

“Because. If it said John you never would’ve brought the phone to me.”
