Upon a time we were much younger.

No river too deep- No jump too broad-

Sure, we had youth on our side, but

we also had "the hunger."



Bending, but not breaking-

Hurt? No!

I was just faking.

Been here too long already, baby.

Lord! Will you look at the time.

Hold on to my bottle of soda pop, will ya?

"They" think that they are so smart.

I feel the spirit burning within me, dog

and I am a master of my art.



PS: If things get a bit lopsided,

do not ever hesitate to "break the glass."
