Hey Larry’s JOTW #174

  Author:  5940  Category:(Humor) Created:(2/16/2024 6:41:00 PM)

Attending a wedding for the very first time, a young girl whispered to her mother, “ Why is the bride wearing white?”

The mother replied, “ Because white represents the color of happiness, and this is the happiness day in her life.”

The little girl thought about it for a moment and asked, “ So how come the groom is dressed in black?”

kronk---A beard.

"L.D."---Ugh? So, what did the bride wear?

kronk---Nothin' She was a Troglodyte.

"L.D."---Oh (I think)

...just out of curiosity, why the link to a My Little Pony ad?

Date: 2/17/2024 6:54:00 AM  From Authorid: 5301

...Kronk...you had me stumped with the troglobite wifw so I
did the Googly thing and found this:

What is the meaning of troglobites?
Noun. troglobite (plural troglobites) An animal that normally lives
entirely in the dark parts of caves, often with no functioning eyes
or no pigmentation.

I'm not entirely sure of the male/female population ratio in your
stretch of the woods but I thought you might have aimed a little higher.

Don't feel bad though...Hey Larry once went out with this girl that was
a lycanthrope and was all set to marry her but people were of the belief
that she was an Italian man and this created a lot of tension in the
relationship.

...I was just kidding about the My Little Pony ad.
It was a dirty trick on your part to link me to that music video
without a warning and darned near caused me to have a stroke.

Let me explain: My current wife was also in one of those early
60's groups and to listen to her voice causes my hair to stand
on end. Here's one of her albums that got a top grating:

...BTW...My wife is the blonde on the left.

Date: 2/17/2024 9:46:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    Why do you mean? Did you miss the bus again and get lost?
Date: 2/17/2024 9:49:00 AM  From Authorid: 5301

...could you write that in something remotely decipherable and abstain from the hieroglyphics?

Date: 2/17/2024 9:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 5301

...there is a bus coming? Where is it going?

Date: 2/17/2024 9:51:00 AM  From Authorid: 5301

...whose boat is that boat?

Date: 2/17/2024 11:14:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    That girl was not an Italian man, she was however, a descendant of an obscure traveling carnival that was featured in Ridley’s Believe It or Don’t.
Date: 2/17/2024 11:16:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    If you have a secret “ My Little Pony” collection that your wife knows nothing about, I won’t tell.
Date: 2/17/2024 11:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 5301

...I just need Sparkles Wonderhoof in the waitress costume and I'll have them all.

Date: 2/17/2024 11:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 5301

...the reference to Ripley's Believe it or Don't reminded me of the story
you told me about Christmas 1964 and money was so tight that your parents
dried and styled a huge hairball that your cat had coughed up and gave to
you as an authentic Ringo mop top wig. You should have held on to that.

Date: 2/17/2024 12:00:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    Kudos to Sparkles, and may you find your rainbow.
Date: 2/17/2024 4:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hekler "L.D." here: When kronk hooked up with, eh, er, eh...? Yo, man. What was that troglodyte chick's name?

kronk---You talkin' about "Bertha," dog?

"L.D."---Yeah, that's the one. Thank you. You may leave, now. OK, Hekler; he's gone. Anyway...Thing is, kronk was already 60,000,000 years old, when he bought the
girl. I think that he gave her daddy four "pliocene horses," and 4,500 lbs of giant ground sloth meat. I believe that the old man could sense that kronk
was desperate and raised her price. In my opinion, a girl like Bertha should have went for something like, one pliocene horse and a half grown sloth, at
most.

The relationship didn't last very long, though. kronk couldn't hang with the woman and he had to pay her father six horses and and a mastodon to take her back.
