Jim was a single guy, living at home with his dad and working in the family business.

When Jim found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly dad passed, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his fortune.

One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and got the courage to go talk to her.

“I may look like just an ordinary man,” he said to her, but in just a few years, my dad will die, and I’ll inherit $50 million.”

Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three weeks later, she became his stepmother.

Date: 1/19/2024 6:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry is early with his JOTW! Isn't that super cool, man!

kronk---Amen, dog. I was just wondering what to do with myself, until Saturday.

"L.D."---What'd you get out of the JOTW. "Hey Larry" often hides subliminal messages in his weekly postings.

kronk---Sometimes, it's better to just go ahead and live alone. (at least until AFTER the ship comes in)

"L.D."---Ummmm hummmm......

Date: 1/19/2024 6:32:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    You know something you two? You’re correct! Long ago in a desert far, far away I happened to meet a woman that I managed to get the courage to ask out to dinner. One thing led to another and a relationship developed. As time went by, one gets to realizing whether or not said relationship is worth going to the next level or bid a fond farewell.

I came to the conclusion that I was doing most of the work in the relationship and spending the vast majority of money try to keep the relationship going…you see where I’m headed no doubt.

It was at this particular time that Janet Jackson had a popular song called , “ What have you done for me lately?” It made me think. And before I knew it I was smiling once again.

...you can read the whole story in "Hey Larry's Lurid Tales of Love" (vol. 3).
These are some of the true stories he once submitted to a gentleman's magazine.

...what? This one?

Date: 1/20/2024 12:29:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    No, not that magazine. Modesty and respect for the guidelines pertaining this website prevents me from exposing you for the Larry Flynt type of character that you have made your millions off of.

...Larry Who?

Date: 1/20/2024 2:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 5301

...I agree. This JOTW is sort of sketchy.

Date: 1/21/2024 8:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 21435    Who's on first?

"L.D."---Wrong sport, sport.

kronk---Ugh!
