I mentioned some of this in my recent posts over the past month or so. But for probably over the past month, my prediction is that the Ravens will be the AFC contender (and potential Super Bowl winner) for 2024. They have been playing lights out games, with at least two blowout wins. Probably more. I'm not a Ravens fan at this point by any stretch, but Lamar Jackson deserves an MVP and a Superbowl win if he makes it. It's bittersweet, because as someone who's been following the Panthers since their better days, I wanted Cam Newton to win the Panthers a Superbowl agaianst the Denver Broncos. Both Cam Newton and Lamar Jackson are running quarterbacks, and for me, it would be great to see a running quarterback win a Super Bowl. Especially when a common long-held consensus is that defenses win championships, even if that may not all be the case anymore. Now for my Super Bowl matchup predictions based on practicality and some personal bias. Lol.
1. Ravens-49ers: Ravens win.
2. Ravens-Lions: Lions pull a miracle win (because I want them to. Lol.)
3. Ravens-Eagles: Ravens win.
Anywho, what are you all into tonight? I'm re-watching an episode of Ranma 1/2 as I type this as a recap for the next episodes following. Ranma is facing a female gymnast who is a student at a rival high school of his. It's good and hilarious. This anime gets better with each episode. Rumiko Takahashi made the anime, just as she made a favorite I am also almost 25% through reading and also watching simultaneously: Inuyasha. Officially one of my favorite anime now, even if I have a long way to go.
