What's everyone into these days? I know the title for my post is an interesting one, but I figured for this instance I would save time to just putting it all together here. I'm in the middle of the eleventh volume of the Inuyasha manga, and may finish that volume over the next several hours. Taking a break from reading and cleaning to meditate shortly. The Inuyasha manga is great so far, by the way. Extremely long altogether from what I have gathered, at 56 issues. Long way to go, but am definitely covering some ground. Gonna brush back up on watching the anime whilst reading the manga as well. It'll be nice to see the action and fantasy I recently read through on the telly. As I said in an earlier post, Rumiko Takahashi created both Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2. I'm through the first ten episodes of Ranma 1/2 so far, and am enjoying it more than I thought. It's a few notches more comedic than Inuyasha. Ranma has maybe 1/4 of the action that Inuyasha does, and still worth the watch. The villainous and shadowy Naraku is definitely keeping me glued to the Inuyasha franchise, probably more so than I can say for Sesshomaru when I got through the first couple or three volumes. Both are very interesting and appealing villains. I recently found out the Hellsing manga is only around 10 volumes long. Bittersweet but mostly sweet. In high school, I was reading a lot of Hellsing manga while some of the story was still in development and release. I might have gotten as far as volume 6. Had I known I was probably over halfway finished, I probably wouldn't have taken a break from it. If I can get through the first ten volumes of Inuyasha and beyond, I can do Hellsing.
Football developments...I'm not as optimistic about the teams I want to make the Super bowl making it. But at this point, anything is possible. You can forget anything positive for my Panthers beyond any reaching moral victory, for the remainder of the season. Bengals could pull some miracles, it is possible. But with Joe Burrow out until 2024, it's not likely. Jake Browning doesn't look like a bad backup quarterback by any stretch, though. With that being said on a fairly realistic note, I would love to see the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens (Lamar Jackson is good, let's be honest), or Jacksonville Jaguars win it all in the 2024 Super Bowl. All of them have tall orders accomplishing that ordeal, especially the Lions and Jaguars. One team will have to face the Eagles in the playoffs, while the other will have to contend with the Chiefs and Ravens. At this point, I think the Ravens are running up better odds for a Super Bowl appearance than the Chiefs on the AFC side of things.
I thought SAW X was amazing. Great movie with as many touching parts as there were intense moments. As always, a good amount of gore you can come to expect in a SAW movie by now. Five Nights At Freddy's was a cute and enjoyable movie. Like SAW X, I hope it gets some top-notch recognition. Thanksgiving was a good old-fashioned slasher movie. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. Starting from 10 minutes or so into the movie, I had my mental list of character suspects who would have turned out to be the slasher. The culprit wasn't any of them. Glad to run into another head-turning mystery film. Lol. 2023 has been a very good year for horror films. Stil a huge fan of both of The Nun movies in the Conjuuring franchise, as well as that overall franchise. An Annabelle 4, The Conjuring 4, and a movie called 'Imaginary' are horror films said to be in development for 2024 and later on. They look neat.
