Well, I guess that I won't be trying that "checkerboard with the candles" thing. "L.D."---Similar to the old "Lady Long Finger" legend, isn't it? kronk---True, except LLF just dragged you to the river and drowned you. "L.D."---What do you think; any truth to that legend? kronk---Are you kidding dog? It is absolutely true. I am one of the few that managed to survive a "Lady Long Finger" assault! "L.D."---Really? You must have done something extremely bad to attract her attention. kronk---I'd rather not say. "L.D."---Come clean, or I will be forced to bite you! kronk---Ugh! Alright, alright...My buddy, Ty's sister, Pearl was an exibitionist and their bathroom window didn't have any curtains and Ty said for $2.oo I could_...CENSORED! "L.D."--- OK, that's enough! I think we get the idea. How did you escape from "Lady Long Finger?" kronk---Well, the hag was dragging me down the incline, towards the river, when I chanced to lay hands on a seven inch acacia thorn. I managed to drive the thorn into her left heel, which caused her to release her grip on my foot. I rolled away and ran for the yard, with her in hot pursuit. She was just about to catch me, again, when our rooster crowed and the sun peeked over the eastern horizon, which caused her to scream bloody murder and dive into the river. "L.D."---Hummmmm...well, I guess that's a "sort" of a plausible explanation. kronk---Yeah, that's what I thought, too. "L.D."---Ugh!  |
