Great tribute to Moon Girl. I had the pleasure to chat with her a time or two by phone and enjoyed her company. I was hoping to meet her one day at a USM get together ( I was going to attend one in Oregon but missed out due to a stupid mistake I made ) but it wasn’t meant to be. Then there was a time when I wasn’t visiting USM as often as we all do, and had found out she had passed. Memories we treasure, they can’t take them away from you. |

...Moonie was a very special person indeed. Friendship with her was instantaneous and you knew that you would always be talking to the real person, not an online persona. Rose and I had many private chats about things going on in her life and it was impossible not to feel an affection for her. I was shocked and terribly saddened when I heard the news of her passing at a time when I was an infrequent visitor here. The large and empty hole left in USM after she went missing took a LONG time to come to grip with. She left her happy mark on everyone she met and, as you say, she will live well beyond her mortal lifetime in the minds of her admirers and in the easy humor she left behind on the internet for future explorers to discover. Thanks Morphix. She was a good lady. |

Date: 10/21/2023 11:43:00 AM From Authorid: 21435 Moonie was such a sweetheart. I always enjoyed when we commented back and forth. Moonie actually recorded a lovely song and sent the link to me. Of course, I can't find that link, but I remember her voice was so soft and soothing. Moonie was one of the good gals. I miss her. Thanks for the lovely post, Morphix. Write on.... |

Date: 10/27/2023 9:42:00 PM ( Admin-Z ) I'll never forget our beautiful Rose ( Moon Girl)we corresponded a lot over the years before she passed. I was lucky to have spoken to her just before she went on her last journey. Her lovely partner put the phone to her ear..She was a very kind, loving, very compassionate girl, I have a beautiful Winter Angel statue that she sent to me that I cherish dearly..thank you for this post Morphix it's so nice to hear our beautiful lady is still in our hearts and minds... |
Date: 10/29/2023 8:08:00 AM From Authorid: 13138 Our Moonie was just the greatest. So sweet, loving and kind. She definitely left quite the impression on me and so many people here. I am amazed that someone you have never met, or even spoken to in person can do that. Take care, |

Date: 6/17/2024 1:09:00 PM From Authorid: 63962 looks like she was about the same age as me. A year or two older. So sad when people go so much younger than what should be their time. |
