Trump vs. DeSantis

Between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, who do you all think is worse? Or in other words, who to you is a bigger fascist? I think DeSantis is a bit worse. I'm no fan of Trump, but it felt like he didn't have the connections to get what he wanted done. Lots of bumbling. DeSantis, on the other hand from the reports I have read, is much more aggressive in trying to launch his culture wars and 'anti-woke' rhetoric, so to speak. I think DeSantis again is worse than Trump. What's so surreal about this debate, argument, etc. is that DeSantis is basically everything I thought Trump would become when elected in November 2016. Obviously, I have biases. Whether I vote for Biden or not, this post is not an endorsement of him or any standing candidate competing outright. I don't really even like Biden all that well. But he'd get my vote again if DeSantis is his opponent in 2024. If the election is somehow Trump vs. Biden all over again, I'd be terribly tempted to stay home. If Biden wants to win re-election and win it well, a lot will have to change over the next 14 and a half months. A LOT. Lol. I've looked up the info, and apparently Biden has cut the federal budget deficit that we inherited from the Trump Years by more than half. That's progress in someway or another. Hope it eases off the inflation bug somehow asap. Barack Obama cut the federal deficit from Bush by roughly a trillion dollars at one point. Yes, there is a clear difference between national deficit and national debt. I've just been good at keeping with this since 2013. I personally blame the endless cycle of Reaganomics that has been allowed to take hold for forty years for most of the United States' debt problems, not to mention endless wars that only benefit the ruling class and defense contractors. But to the point, especially to those of you who dislike the far-right, who do you think is worse between Trump and DeSantis? If DeSantis had Trump's kind of support, I'd find DeSantis to be more worrisome nationally.

...I don't think this is a very fair question because
it could be compared to choosing to accidentally step in
something some dog left just for you or being sprayed by
a skunk. I'm on the fence here so I'll just have to place
my mark in the Undecided column.

...DeSantis is already testing out what Trump would have tried in
his second term and is, if it can be believed, even more unlikable.

He is tarnishing the sparkling reputation of his state.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Date: 8/26/2023 12:38:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63219    Would you care to explain what a 'globalist' is, Heart and Soul? That term has some pretty unpleasant and prejudiced roots from what I have come to understand. You may not know that and I don't want to put you on the spot beyond anything save a learning experience. Now, if you say that DeSantis is an 'imperialist' much like Trump or pretty much every other president we've ever had to various degrees, I am inclined to agree.
