Hey Larry I can still hear mother telling me: "You're a lazy little fella, but mother's going to show you how to work, anyway." My mother had farmer friends and I got to experience all manner of "chores." I picked beans, corn, peppers, figs, mayhaw, slopped hogs, fed cows, chickens, ducks....I even picked cotton. "L.D."---How much cotton did you pick in a day? kronk---I was not very talented in the "cotton-picking department." I only managed 50 lbs. a day. At 2 cents a lb. I made $1.00. I also did odd jobs for mother's friends. Mowing lawns and edging sidewalks, washing cars, bailing hay... "L.D."---So, basically, you were a slave. kronk---Not really; I did get paid...a little. "L.D."---Where was I when all this was going on? kronk---Sleeping under the porch. "L.D."---hehehe... |

...and I don't steal candy from children. They give it to me for "protection". Kids should be free to have fun and enjoy themselves without having to worry about bullies. We'll take care of the bullies. |

And you should be wearing an ankle monitor so the local authorities can monitor your whereabouts 24/7. It justifies the expense of incarceration and feeding you unless it’s absolutely necessary. |
