Date: 8/1/2023 6:10:00 AM From Authorid: 55251 This is a good question if you want me to rant about my issues with management. I have yet to experience a management team that I feel was positively contributing to the workplace. Management, and in particular, “middle management” have always seemed to me as “micro-managers”; sticking their nose into things, nit-picking, turning the trivial into the priority, and generally just being a pain. I assume it’s an attempt to justify the existence of their positions. I have over 10 years of university education, which includes 3 degrees and a master’s degree. Yet, I need to get management’s approval for mundane tasks, as if I am incapable or doing it without them. So, I don’t feel a sense of honour when management deems me worthy of something, because for the most part, I don’t think the role of “management” should even exist. Probably not the answer you were looking for lol. |

Juniper I try to stay away from overly sensitive material. "L.D."---What you mean to say is that no one trusted you enough to let you anywhere near sensitive material. kronk---Oh, yeah! Well, for your information I've been around plenty sensitive material. "L.D."---Such as? kronk---Not only was the material I've been around extremely sensitive; It was also top secret. I can't talk about it. "L.D."---What a line! Juniper...kronk is so full of it. All he is capable of doing is hooking crab traps. "They" let him run the boat, once, and he ran into a Coast Guard cutter. kronk---That boat was in my lane! "L.D."---Ugh! |

Juniper Pardon my dog. He doesn't know his place. I felt a measure of pride, one day, when my big boss man called me in and told me how well the crew performed in every assignment we were given. He said that we got along well with associates and he didn't have to worry about us at all. He also gave us a voucher for dinner at one of the best places in the world to fried mahi mahi. "L.D."---I'm part of the crew. Why was I not invited? kronk---You're like a mascot. Mascots don't necessarily get invited to seafood restaurants. "L.D."--- GRRRRRR.... kronk---OUCH !!! |

Hello Juniper. The current supervisors That I work for hired me a second time…..ok, I first got hired by them back in 2015 and worked with them / for them approximately four years before the company we were employed by began to make “ corporate “ decisions that look great on a power point presentation but in reality are doomed to fail. So , as time went by, the company lost a lot of employees that decided to go elsewhere. Well, I went to another job right about the time Covid hit and got contacted by one of my former bossees that was supervising at a new job, he hired my other supervisor and they sought me out on Facebook and wanted to know if I would like to work for them again. Yes, and I couldn’t be happier. The job pays much better and the benefits Rock. |
