Date: 7/19/2023 5:11:00 AM From Authorid: 5940 The only odd encounter I’ve with an alien would be Hekler. He says he’s from Canada but I’ve been to Canada many times and folks there are very friendly and helpful, etc. But Hekler acts like he’s from another planet and seems fearful of human contact/ interaction and though he’ll deny it, I think he’s observing and collecting samples . That or it’s maybe the region he lives in. British Columbia peeps seem ready cool. |

"L.D."---Do you think these people consider us an alien life form? kronk---No way, dog. We've been on this planet for 66,000,074 years. We're like, about as local as you can get. "L.D."---That's good `cause I'd hate to be seen as being "different." kronk---Heart and Soul I'm not so sure that I believe that there are such things as ten foot tall aliens. I think the folks in Vegas were just seeing shadows. |

...I had a strange sighting when I was 14, way out in the boonies and visiting a friend out in Boonietania. I think it rather prideful and ignorant to believe that we might be the only game in town. See that ant down there? Step on it. You are now AntGod! They never saw it coming. We are the ants here. |

...and we should not fear our extraterrestrial visitors either. They come in peace and/or probe you. They mean no harm. They will not destroy our species. Instead, they came down to Earth, said hello to some people, probed some others, mutilated a few head of cattle and stockpiled some Coca~Cola and Orville Redenbachers best. Now they're back out in space, tuned into whatever channel FoxGalaxy can be found on and are watching "Stupid Planet Tricks" and waiting for us to self-vacate the planet so they can move in without having violated the prime directive. Open under new management. |

...only the lowest lifeforms will survive. Cockroaches, Hey Larry, Geraldo Rivera will make it and probably that chihuahua next door. Does anyone have a badger for sale? No questions asked/answers given. |

...why am I making plans for the future? I'll be long gone too, replaced by a stupid chihuahua and other unicellular organisms. All I see is bleakness now and a JOTW that nobody ever replies to. And the Morlocks*. *The "Morlocks" were once known as The Republican Party, a political venture, also known as the GOP, that began to morph into a vile sludge that Americans could not possibly wipe from their shoes. And they elected a sludgelord that left trails of sludge whereever he might go and twice as much on Sundays. It took an additional four years for the de-evolution to become complete. Luckily, Canadians to the north sent a constant supply of relief goods to the few small pockets of survivors that, against all odds, managed to avoid the plague of self-imposed stupidity and did not burn their Dr. Seuss collection. |

...what's everyone's favorite Dr. Suess book? Come on, open up. We won't shame you. I liked "Green Eggs and Ham" I don't eat eggs any more. Eggs are chickens that will never be because YOU were HUNGRY. I will eat ham though. Not green ham. Unless it was St. Patrick's Day and I trusted the source of the meat. I'm daring. I once ate purple ketchup. |

...and before anyone "corrects" me and mentions that the ham that I eat is another pig that won't see a tomorrow? Let me address that. It was suspected that the pigs, led by feral animals from Texas and Florida, were attempting a side coup of their own so comfort may be attained by the knowledge that they had it coming. |

Hekler "L.D." here: I like Dr. Seuss books. I've often wondered what kind of an animal Dr. Seuss was? kronk---Seuss wasn't an animal. He was a human male. "L.D."---"One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" kronk---I'm going to get myself a fish sandwich. "L.D."---Bring me back eight of those, will ya. kronk---Some fish, too many fish, you're not getting any fish "L.D."---Ugh! |

There is undoubtedly life elsewhere in our universe even if it is only microbial in nature. I have not had any physical encounters with such beings, but I do believe I witnessed sasquatch on a few occasions while tromping around in the wilderness. Now as a child I had a series of episodic dreams of being in a cave somewhere with reptoid like creatures. No 2 dreams were the same and each one followed cohesively with the one before it. I do not know if that was an answer you would be looking for but that is my answer. As fas as life in this star system, I believe there has been other intelligent life forms that once lived and may still be living within the planet Mars. Outside of this star/solar system, I would have to say it is possible, but I do not believe we have ever met. Everything was made out of the same components/elements so there is nothing special elsewhere. I do not believe that the technology could get to such an advanced stage as being able to reach one another peaceably before the civilization working on such technology would collapse. I accept that I could well be wrong with that latter statement. But I am just giving my opinion on what theories I have come to when drawing from my limited understanding of such things. Hope I have at least created some room for thought. |
Date: 7/26/2023 4:18:00 AM From Authorid: 64827 I don't believe the story of the family that saw 10 foot aliens. Look at the video. They are just standing around the house with their arms folded while they waited for the police to arrive. In reality if they truly saw 👽 aliens, they would have been across the street all shook up and panicking. Although, I do believe in life from other planets. |

...64827...when you were referring to the arrival of the local hicks with sticks, bravely confronting an alien menace, you mentioned the likelihood "they would have been across the street all shook up" All that entered my head at that point was Elvis and I could not get that imagery out of my head. Maybe that song could be the theme music for all of those bungled police rescue missions. Did anyone stop for coffee? |
