On 5-7-1988 Twenty-one-year-old Steve Sandlin who was a rookie police officer for Mountainair New Mexico was working alone in the Police Station when he was found shot & he died a few minutes later..

In July 1989 18 year old Kaitlyn Arquette a white female after leaving her Parents home en-route to a new girlfriends house was shot & killed in a drive-by-shooting in Albuquerque New Mexico..

On 8-25-1994 Wells Fargo Armored Guard 28 year old Jeff Oelcher was shot & killed during a attempted robbery on Highway 6 outside of Albuquerque New Mexico..
