"Twenty four hours"...kronk

One star showing-

Tiny sliver of a moon-

Heavy frost due in, tonight-

Call in the dog, put out the cat.

Drape an old sheet over the cactus.

Cold dawn in a cold house-

Only reason I get up is, I'm craving coffee.

Dog dancing in place-

In order to evacuate his bowls,

he needs to run a rabbit.

Open air and a sunny sky-

Ain't so bad out here, once you get to moving.

Not much to declare, this afternoon-

Lots to do, but all was quite in the neighberhood

and I was feeling rather sleepy.

Crawled under the pick up truck-

Ahhhh, I see, now.

Sun's going down..I'll do that tomorrow.

Thinking about all you pilgrims.

Wondering what yall doing?

I'm filled to the gills with good Greek food.

Had myself an after dinner bump, now

I'm heading for the shower.

I enjoyed reading this as I can relate. So far, as I drink my morning dose of caffeine ( the first of three or four ) I have managed to toss a load of work clothes into the washer. Not a bad start.

L.D."---Oh, yeah Being around you ranks right up there with "watching paint dry."

kronk---Ugh!

Date: 1/28/2023 9:58:00 AM  From Authorid: 5940    Hey, I managed to motivate a little more and split some firewood ( thanks to my hydraulic log splitter) as well as another load of laundry. That’s progress.
Date: 1/28/2023 4:54:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry I had big plans for today, myself. BUT, "the dog" had plans of his own.

"L.D."---You still whining about this morning? Man, you are "such" a baby. You are the one who brought me to the community lake, for a walk.

kronk---Yeah, right. You were supposed to do your business and run around for a few minutes, not keep me out there for three and a half hours, while you were
spooning with a promiscuous three-legged coyote.

"L.D."---You have no right to talk about "Harmonia" that we. She is a paragon of virtue, and lost her leg saving one of the mayor's prize "Olandsk Dwarf Chickens"
from that twelve foot alligator that lives in the culvert down by the viaduct.

kronk---I heard that "Harmonia" caught a load of buckshot while she was trying to eat Mr. Smithfield's pot bellied pig.

"L.D."---Ugh!

Date: 1/29/2023 3:03:00 AM  From Authorid: 51025    Ooh wee made my nose freeze sending me for the shelter of my blanket. As always, enjoyed the words.
Date: 1/29/2023 12:33:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry I walked around until my knee gave out, then I had to sit down on the cold, wet, ground.

"L.D."---You need to be prepared. You should carry around a ground cloth.

kronk---Ugh!

Date: 1/29/2023 12:36:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Blvd Strangers Thanks. It did get pretty cold for a couple of days, but now, the temperature is back up to seventy degrees and the bloody mosquitoes are biting.
So good to read you, lady.
