As the purple clouds faded while escaping the moon.
We stopped the world and took the chance to just jump off.
We had planned a world of our very own creation.
All things begin simply with a dreamy thought.
We raced for a door that was closing.
We tried to apply every knowledge that we knew.
The highways became golden as we drifted apart.
And we said nothing as we faded from view.
A mirror may haunt you and lied in quicksilver.
As the rivers and streams shimmer too.
Freedom is earned and is coupled by love.
But we held onto all of the things that were crude.
We raced for a door that was closing.
We tried to apply every knowledge that we knew.
