Canadian Boat Tour

A Saskatchewan park broke a Guinness World Record when hundreds of people on water inflatables formed a line measuring 1,176.83 feet long.

The crowd gathered at Lac Pelletier Regional Park in Wymark in late July and Guinness World Records has now confirmed the event broke the record for longest line of water inflatables.

GWR confirmed the line of inflatables beat the previous record of 705.7 feet, which was set in Milan, Italy, in 2019.

The record attempt raised thousands of dollars for Lac Pelletier shoreline restoration projects. ( They should have used some of that money to build a combination floating bar and ice fishing house.)

...oh look! Someone came in here and left a mess.

Date: 1/26/2023 4:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry That's a lot of boats! Brought to mind Hurricane Camille, in `69. There were all sorts of boats scattered all over the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

"L.D."---Yeah, but most of those boats were sunk.

kronk---True, that. We should try and break some sort of record.

"L.D."---Ugh! How about most days in a row that a dog is fed artificial chicken.

Date: 1/26/2023 9:45:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    Kronk & L.D. , natural disasters are sometimes unavoidable. But man made disasters are inexcusable, take the RMS Labatt that ran aground in Ottawa for example.
Date: 1/27/2023 9:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 21435    Is beer hazardous to fish?

kronk---I imagine that a fish would not fair very well if you just dropped it into a barrel of 100% beer, but if the liquid in the barrel was like 95% water and
something like 5 1/2 percent beer, the fish would probably be alright.

"L.D."---We have any beer left? I feel experimenting.

kronk---Nope, we're fresh out of beer. I drank the last two cases yesterday. I was feeling a little stressed.

"L.D."---Ugh!
