THE DEATH OF MARCUS MERRITT SR

On 1-4-2013 Mr.Merritts lifeless body was found in his bedroom in the home..

At first glance it would be easy to say that the gun shot wound was self-inflicted..

Mr.Merritt's Death was ruled a Suicide at the scene..

Red-Flags :

The M.E. never saw the scene or the body for he sent attendants to pick up Mr.Merritt's body & take him directly to the Funeral Home..

There was No gun shot reidue test [ GSR ] done on Mr.Merritt's hands or clothing..

No Tox Screen was conducted..

No Autopsy was conducted..

The only thing done correctly was they took Death-Room photo's which they denied having until June 2016..

Fast forward :

In May 2016 the Louisiana State Police conducted an Investigation into the Death of Marcus Merritt Sr..

On 5-24-2016 the LSP had Just Cause that a Judge signed the order to have Mr.Merritt's body exhumed..

On 6-2-2016 Mr.Merritt's body was exhumed & an Autopsy was conducted including a Tox Screen..

Mja has a copy covering two video's of the LSP Autopsy conducted by the Louisiana State Police..

Red-Flags :

Heading : State Certified Autopsy Conducted By The Louisiana State Police

When Mr.Merritts body was being taken out of the coffin his body wasnt secured..

Decomp & Waste was falling to the floor which was swepted up & thrown away in a 55 gallon trash can..

When they were lowering Mr.Merritt's body onto the Autopsy table Mr.Merritt's right boot fell into the sink..

The Correct Way :

Before taking the subject out of the coffin you wrap the body from head-to-toe with a tarp or bed sheet material..

During the M.E.'s work the video camera was placed in the corner of the room..

You couldnt actually see what the M.E. was doing to Mr.Merritt's body..

There was no audio or anyone taking notes during the M.E.'s work..

The Correct Way :

A video camera should be above the body that captures the whole body..

An Audio source is used so the M.E. can explain every move they are conducting on the body..

In most cases someone is also taking notes of the work being done by the M.E...

This was in June 2016 & there is no reason why the Autopsy couldnt be conducted in the correct way..

In my experience the State Certified Autopsy was like a high school production & certain protocals were not followed..

Mja feels that Mr.Merritt's body was abused by using a bone-cracker on his body when the Tox Screen samples wasnt collected in that manner..

The only thing done correctly was the Tox Screen..

Red-Flags :

Tox Screen places chemicals that are by-product's caused by house hold cleaning products not embalming fluid..

Tox Screen places 400 ng's of Fentanyl in Mr.Merritt's liver..

Mr.Merritt didnt use Drugs..

This is just the Tip Of The Iceberg of why the Victims Mother & Mja questions the Cause Of Death of Mr.Merritt..

Let me add that all of the evidence collected during the LSP Death Investigation was turned over to Mja on a Flash Drive...

Alot of that evidence we have no choice but to question it..
