"Happy Thanksgiving!"

I take issue with Thanksgiving being an "Ancient Belief."

kronk---Well, we call it "Thanksgiving," but through the years, many cultures have had a similar time that "they" set aside to give thanks for various things.

"L.D."---But is it truly "ancient?"

kronk---Of course! My own, most memorable, day of thanks occurred in 210 B.C. shortly after "The Battle of Arginusae."

"L.D."---Really? Where was I during this battle?

kronk---I was a galley slave, chained to a bench and forced to row for 19 straight hours. At the end of the battle, I happened to have been on the winning side, and was subsequently freed. I think that you were in some untamed wilderness chasing after the elusive "Norfolk Island Ka Ka."

"L.D."---I'm hungry. Let's get fried chicken.

kronk---All the chicken places are closed for "Thanksgiving."

"L.D."---Ugh!

kronk---Say "Happy Thanksgiving," dog.

...hey! Happy Thanksgiving Kronk, L.D. and to all sentient Americans wherever you may be.

I couldn't help but notice that L.D. is a big fan of Norfolk Island Ka Ka.
I recently received an unsolicited shipment of this item from HeyLarryCo. but it is in bags
to preserve the freshness. It even has a "heat-in-bag" feature for your convenience.

I can unload the whole shipment on you for just the cost of mailing and packaging.

Date: 11/25/2022 4:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 5940    Boy, it’s the season for re- gifting.
Date: 11/26/2022 7:15:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hekler "L.D." here: Good to have you back. Back in those days, I was really interested in Ornithology and decided to study the "KaKa." Norfolk Island, off the coast of New Zealand, was lousy with the things. I stayed there for four solid months, studying the "KaKa's," extensively.

kronk---Studying? I thought one of your dingo friends told you that "KaKa" was on a par with African Ostrich, and leopard seal, as far as exotic meats go, and you
went there to belly up.

"L.D."---Yeah, well; a dog's gotta' eat, too.

Date: 11/26/2022 7:24:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry Thanks, man. All we can do is try and carry on. I figure if we manage to reach even a few people, then it's been worth while.

"L.D."---A few? Don't flatter yourself. "Sometimes," you manage to reach "three," if they're bored and have nothing better to do.

kronk---You're a cruel beast; you know that?

"L.D."---Yeah, well; I was actually being generous. You only ever manage to reach two, and that's about it. Quit counting yourself.

kronk---Ugh!

Date: 11/26/2022 7:43:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hekler "L.D." here: I have it on good authority that the "KaKa" you've acquired originated in "PROC" and could possibly contain_______

kronk---Alright, now! Cut it out! Forget about the KaKa, please. Let's go spend a few days digging clams, on the east coast.

"L.D."---I wish you'd have told me something earlier. Ringo and I are heading up to "Poo Poo Point," in Washington State.

kronk---What's up there?

"L.D."---"Hairy Woodpeckers."

kronk---Ugh?

"L.D."---"Mingo, the Dingo" told me that you haven't lived until you've had "Hairy Woodpecker," under glass.

kronk---UGH!
