Date: 11/23/2022 1:16:00 PM From Authorid: 55251 I am curious why "MJA Inc" is inclined to use Unsolved Mysteries as a repository for their financial records? I feel it would be more appropriate to post receipts on your own website... That being said, I do appreciate that you are supporting a children's club. I hope you all have a happy holidays. |

11-25-22 Mja Inc Investigations I am Sorry but by Law we have to publish Public Record Files to any Social Platform we use of the work we do that is Documented.. Just like at the end of the year we have to Publish Documented Records that spells out the work we done for that year.. States we traveled to -- The cases we worked on -- Work related e-mails -- Search Hours -- Phone Hours -- Clients we met during our travels -- The Money we spent that year -- Any donations we get & how that donation is spent -- the list goes on & its like filing taxes atr the end of the year.. By Law this is what Mja has to do to keep open for we dont have a Tax-Exempt Stamp.. We post these Public Record Files on our Facebook Pages -- Twitter & ect.. This is why I keep telling certain Trolls that their attacks are useless for our work is documented & posted to the Public.. We are an open book & completely Honest... I am Sorry but we dont make the Rules -- we only follow them.. ----------------------------------- Posted by Mja Inc -- Mark |

Hi Mark! Thanks for the reply I certainly don't want you to break any laws! I'm not from the US. But, I do follow many non-profit organizations and I have worked for them, and I haven't heard of any law that states you must "publish Public Record Files to any Social Platform we use of the work we do that is Documented". I believe tax-exempt organizations must make certain records available for public inspection and copying upon request. But, I am skeptical you need to, by law, post every receipt to every "social platform". That seems ... impractical. Again, I could be totally wrong, so I'm in no position to debate the topic. Best of luck with all your work. |

11-28-22 Mja Inc Investigations One of my 5 Daughters is a Lawyer who helped set up Mja Inc Investigations legally.. Let me tell you all the Red-Tape it takes to keep our Volunteer Group Active.. To open legally Mja just to get our foot in the door had to work on Cases that had Reward money attached to the Case.. Reward Money is posted to the Public : meaning any private citizen or a group of citizens can collect the Reward if they provide the Info to collect such a Reward that is spelled out.. After going National & being in such high demand Mja was deemed a Volunteer Group... Since none of the 3 founding Partners of Mja held a Private Investigators License we had to prove to the IRS for 5 years that Mja wasnt making a Profit.. We had to keep every receipt of the Money Mja spent doing our work every year for 5 years which was handled by an Accountant.. The Law : Your not allowed to be paid or collect Money without holding a Private Investigators License.. You are not allowed to hold Fund-Raisers or Solicit donations without a Tax Excempt Stamp.. In return if Mja gain's a Donation that donation is given to Public Service Programs.. Mja happened to choose Educational Programs for Children & Crimes Against Children.. Mja is a Volunteer Group funded by our 46 staff members.. On the average any active staff member pays around $ 475.00 a year to carry out our work in 14 States.. Our staff has to send me expense reports for any money they spent while carrying out their duties for Mja.. Let me remind you our staff cant write this off on their Tax Returns for Mja doesnt hold a Tax Excempt Stamp.. Its a Law that Volunteer Groups have to release documented records to the Public in some shape or form.. Mja isnt the only Volunteer Group that does this--you just havent noticed it before.. This is the Red-Tape we have been going through for over 21 years now just to stay open to provide our Services Free of Charge.. ---------------------------------------- Posted by Mja Inc -- Mark |
