Hi my friend. Yep, I'm just fine. Staying healthy and staying away from Covid. George is great too. I don't know where the USM-ERS hang out. It seemed like many peeps grew up, and got busy with spouses, kids and life. I hope life gets better for you, my friend. You deserve all the best !!! |

Welcome back! I am a couple years away from my retirement goals ( and talk about life being rough, life also means being able to adapt, adjust, overcome and acceptance ) and am busier than I was when I was younger. But hanging out….well other than Facebook ( which I don’t use as often, more for keeping in contact) this is the place as far as social media. |

I think our generation makes up the majority of the "youngest" USMers (those who arrived here during our early teens). Like Ginger said, life happened and many of us went to college/university, got a spouse and/or kids, and became distracted with many other wonderful things. Also, the rise of social media pulled us away too. I remember the early days of Facebook had a USM group, but I think that's long gone. So, to answer your question, I don't think there's anywhere else USMers hang out except for here. I still connect with many USMers outside of here (mainly on Facebook/Instagram), and basically what's been said applies to them - They are busy busy busy. Every now and then I convince one of them to pop by here and say hello |

Super Evil Genius Well, I'm still here. I just can't seem to quit this place. Of course, I'm old and can hardly "leap tall buildings at a single bound," anymore. Hang in there the best you can. Things have gotten extremely weird in the last couple of years, but "we" are a hundred feet tall, and there ain't no more dinosaurs, so...... "L.D."---So what? I wish you'd think complete thoughts. Ugh! kronk---SEV...I'd like to introduce you to my "imaginary talking dog." His name is "Light Emitting Diode," but we all call him "L.D." for short. (I invented him to help me cope with life.) "L.D."---Grrrrrrrr... kronk---OUCH! |
