You may be overestimating the prudence of humans. I remember reading about the parachuting pioneer Franz Reichelt. While he did indeed test his parachutes first - many tests failed. So, naturally he decided to jump off the Eiffel Tower with his failed parachute to prove it worked. It didn't. He died.  |

You know, I cannot prove it but Hekler is quite a dare-devil and it would not surprise me if he would volunteer for such a project. But, they probably did practice for that type of experiment before trying a human or animal. Safe practices leads to better results!  |

Hekler failed to mention that he’s been tricked numerous times into running off a steep cliff while attempting to catch The Road Runner and merely assumed that he had bionic powers. That and The ACME Company went bankrupt because of various lawsuits due to faulty equipment and manufacturing defects. |

That actually is a good thought, 74. I now have to go look to see who the first person who was the first to parachute jump was. I bet it was a thrilling and frightening experience at the same time.   |
