Is Bigfoot A Hitman ?

Larry Sanders, 53, stands charged with first-degree murder after allegedly admitting first to a family member and later to police to killing his noodling fishing partner Jimmy Knighten, who Sanders claimed wanted him dead by the hand of the mythical monster Bigfoot. Noodling is a popular fishing technique used in the southern United States to catch a fish by sticking one’s hand in its mouth.

( well, that puts “ noodling in a bad light. I used to hear stories of catfish taking down gators but now that Bigfoot is in the picture….)

The local sheriff, John Christian, told local media that Sanders “appeared to be under the influence of something” when he told police he had struck, strangled, and then drowned Knighten. ( Is that like the Beatles song? Something in the way he looks, makes want to run away screaming….)

“So, his statement was that Mr. Knighten had summoned ‘Bigfoot’ to come and kill him, and that’s why he had to kill Mr. Knighten,” Christian told local reporters.

( I wonder if he had to wear some fancy ceremonial robe with a wizard hat ?)

Christian said that the confession “always makes it easier,” but that the difficulty came in trying to find Knighten’s body, which had floated on the river currents and was not discovered until more than 24 hours after the deadly incident.

Christian said authorities first arrested Sanders on an outstanding warrant and charged him with murder only after Knighten’s body was retrieved from the river bed.

“You still have to prove all the elements of the crime, and what the suspect is telling you, you have to prove that that’s actually what happened,” Christian said.

Christian said that the local prosecutor would likely push for the death penalty if Sanders is found guilty in the case.

Date: 7/12/2022 4:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry Well, I mean, the dude sic'd Bigfoot on Sanders. I'm sure that sort of command carries a lot of weight in "certain" circles. If the trial takes place in
New York City, and if Sanders doesn't "appear" violent, he'll likely be released, without bail, to await his trial.

"L.D."---Are you saying that even though Sanders, "struck, strangled and then drowned" his fishing partner, he may still be released into society, if he doesn't
"appear" violent?

kronk---"That's the rumor." Oh, and don't forget, Sanders misplaced the body, also.

"L.D."---You humans are strange.

Date: 7/12/2022 5:56:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    That’s nothing. In California, he’d be under psychiatric evaluation, given Lincoln logs to play with, eventually given a Roarschshck test where he’ll answer Yeti is not a cooler, play with his webbed feet to amaze doctors and patients alike, read the book “ Baby Steps” and before you know it he’ll be released back into the wild and be put in charge of Texas ‘s Electrical Power Grid before the next winter blowout.
Date: 7/13/2022 6:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry I wonder, sometimes, what verdict "Samson" would have given on that one.

"L.D."---Ugh! "Samson" didn't mess around, man. He'd have more than likely sentenced old Sanders to death.

kronk---Yeah, I think you're probably right, dog. Old Sam would simply beat you to death, with "the jawbone of an, er, eh...a donkey."

"L.D."---Are those jawbones really that dangerous.

kronk---I sure wouldn't want to be beat with one.

Date: 7/13/2022 6:53:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    Who knew that the origins of a jawbone tends to be where people sit on it ? Could that be what they mean about talking out your behind? This truly deserves an in depth investigation, and may I suggest we use a analytical expert from another country to show that there’s no bias involved? Say, Canada?

...I was of the belief that Larry Sanders was already dead. I remember watching
his TV show but I think he went by another name too. Could his death have been a hoax?

I'd have expected a more in-depth style of reporting in this instance. Too many loose ends.

Date: 7/14/2022 5:02:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940    He would’ve gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for Hank Kingsley and his “ Look Around Cafe”.
