Hey Larry only read this because of the title too Ginger. He wanted to find out what id was all about. Expected pictures. |
Date: 6/18/2022 4:28:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435 Hey Larry I've been fond of the word "id" ever sense I first heard it. For the longest, I thought it had something to do with "Robbie, the robot." Then I went to see "Miss Cleo" (Southwest Branch) and she straightened everything out. She just happened to have a half price sale going, on misread song lyrics, at the time. (She doctored up the paperwork, so I was even able to deduct the session.) |

Hekler So many times I've wished that I could figure out how to assign pictures to posts. (I have a few "really" good ones of "L.D." when he thought nobody was looking.) "L.D."---I thought you told me that you burned those! kronk---hehehe |

Ginger Are you sure that you're not really from "The Great State of Texas?" You write "if'n" just like my "Aunt Valentina Mariana Maria Barbosa Bowie." "L.D."---Did I ever meet your Aunt Val? kronk---I don't think so. Aunt Valentina was allergic to any and all furry animals. (Except for ermine. She loved ermine.) "L.D."---I've had ermine, before. Not bad. Not bad, at all. A little greasy, maybe, but not bad. kronk---Always a pleasure to get a visit from "The First Lady Of USM!" Stay sweet, Ginger. |

Date: 6/19/2022 12:55:00 AM From Authorid: 998 Nope, I ain't a Texan. Born and raised where we don't really have any accents ... Salt Lake City, Utah. Well, I do have one word I can't seem to say without a twang in it ... that's 'milk'. For some reason since I was just a little thing, when I say the word, it comes out 'miwk'. Where the w comes from, I just don't know, but my family has a good time making fun of it ... lol |

Well, what do you think? Should we do it? kronk---Yes, of course. Ginger is one of the good gals. She took me into the site, when I was down and out, back at the start of the new millennium. I've felt completely at home, here, ever since. "L.D."---That's good enough for me. "By the power vested in us, by The Great State of Texas, we hereby declare "Ginger" to be an honorary citizen, entitled to all privileges and immunities of free citizens." Ginger; please repeat after me....."YEE-HAW!" |

Ginger I love the way you say "miwk." I had two older brothers; Charles and Harry. For some reason, I never called them by there given name, until I was about fifteen years old. To me, they were, "goo-noo," and "Yeah-yeah." My brothers never seemed to mind me calling them that, but their wives got rather upset with me. |
