I The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed -- for lack of a better word -- is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms -- greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge -- has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed -- you mark my words -- will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Gordon Gekko |

You can fool some of the people sometimes. And that’s more than enough to make a decent living. W.C. Fields |

"Money, it's a crime Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie Money, so they say Is the root of all evil today But if you ask for a rise it's no surprise that they're giving none away."....."MONEY" by Pink Floyd MONEY! All I want (at the moment, anyway) is enough to purchase 750 ml of a name brand, 23 year old, single barrel, bourbon whiskey. "L.D."---Twenty three years old, eh? I'm sure that "they" had to put the stuff on sale, `cause it's so old. kronk---The advertisement claims that "the deal, is a steal," at "only" $8,763. (American) "L.D."---WHAT !!!! Do you know how many pounds of "turkey innards" you could purchase with that much money? kronk----Oh, MONEY___MONEY___MONEY !!! |

Hey Larry I never donate to any of those causes. "L.D."---Oh, so you don't care? kronk---On the contrary, my furry friend. I care a lot. I have eyes and ears, and form my "own" conclusions about "the needy" and what I may be able to do to help. "L.D."---Sounds like a "cop-out," to me. Give me an one example, where you even offered to help? kronk---Only one? OK, then....Earlier this year, I volunteered to station myself at one of the remote border crossing. "L.D."---Oh...I may have misjudged you. So, you volunteered to tend to the needs of the thousands of immigrants, surging across our southern border? kronk---No, of course not. I have no talent for such things. "L.D."---Well, "what" did you volunteer for? kronk---I volunteered to shoot human traffickers, drug smugglers and coyotes. "L.D."---What a humanitarian. |

Hey Larry "L.D." here: I'm sure that it's obvious to all that kronk is a "murdering swine." kronk---Hey, now, hold it right there, dog! I never murdered anybody. I never so much as fired a shot. Actually, I thought better of it and withdrew my proposal. "L.D."---HA! What a crock! "They" tested your vision and determined that you'd be more of a liability, than an asset. kronk---Where do you get your information? My vision is a perfect 20/10. "L.D."---HA HA HA ! More like 20/500! "They" figured you'd have a 4.5 percent chance of hitting what you were aiming at, 20 feet away. kronk---Ugh! |

There's that picture of "Bridgette Bardot," in the lower left hand corner, again. "L.D."---Forget about that! I have a "serious" question for you. kronk---Well, spit it out. "L.D."---Regarding that W.C. Fields quote, that Hey Larry shared: How many people do you think we'd have to fool, in order to make a decent living? kronk---At the rate that you eat red meat; probably about a couple hundred thousand. "L.D."---I think it's doable. How far away is Delaware? |
Date: 4/25/2022 5:33:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5940 You get the Bridget Bardot ads and I get the History Pictures for Mature Audiences ads. When I click on my ads I see a picture that is tastefully pixelated showing the first Pilgrim Nudist Colony when The Mayflower arrived……. |
