I think it is extremely unlikely that we are the only life in the universe. As for "sentient" life, well that depends on what you mean by "sentient". In general, I think it would be very unlikely for no other intelligent lifeforms to exist in the universe. I think about the Drake equation and the Fermi paradox and I scratch my head wondering "where are they?". But, I remember our universe is unfathomably large. We humans have a long tradition of thinking that we are special or central to the universe and we have always been wrong. I strongly suspect we are also wrong in thinking that we are alone.  |

Life form? I tend to believe that we are all just self-aware computer programs operating within limited parameters. Death is merely the result of a grander cosmic "player" uninstalling you from the platform or the inability of "God's" Nintendo system to load the game anymore.  |

I believe we’re aren’t the only sentient beings in the universe, after all Hekler is definitely not of this world. My theory is was exiled from another galaxy due to noxious gases and sent here because our world has air pollution and therefore no one would ever suspect.  |
