A Happy Birthday Wish to me
Good evening, dear USM Angels
it’s after 11:00pm here in Kentucky
Yesterday afternoon, I finished a few more errands although thankfully I had done the majority on Thursday….picking up a few groceries, supplies for my fur babies, feathered babies ;) & bird feed as well. We had been expecting a snowstorm and we certainly have one now! I’ll be “snowed in “ until next week if not longer.
Spoke to a little gal during my check out of the items I had picked up & when I explained to her where I live, she says to me, “say no more” There wasn’t any need, as she was familiar with the location & terrain… I live in a wilderness on the mountain top lol but what can I say I do love it here. It’s only negative to living here is when it snows, I’m inside for quite a while…so I’ve learned to pick up all my groceries & other supplies in preparation for those kinds of snowstorms….. This time, we’ve gotten a “doozy”
This crazy peculiar weather we’ve been having for the past few months has been unreal. Even my puppers are very unhappy about it. Near 70 degree weather both Thursday & Friday to only begin plummeting Friday night to 22 degrees & with the windchill factor it’s much, much colder.
I had been hoping to go to Olive Garden for my Birthday. These past few years since Edward passing, I’ve not celebrated much less my Birthday… Though I am grateful for all Blessings God’s Goodness, His Faithfulness, Love…
I did have left overs from Bob Evans-----I certainly cannot complain.. I went Outside earlier in the day to check on my puppers, water etc making certain they were all ok... it took a while to warm up after coming back inside.
The snow started early last night between 7:00pm----8:00pm--- It always begins earlier in the mountains it seems. It snowed non stop until early this morning & reached at a level with my porch…about 8 to 12 inches easily…. Maybe a little more & then with the windgusts there have been snowdrifts. My Kaden Boy had been traveling off the porch during the night leaving a few paw prints
It’s been quite a night & day------- Early this morning I received a phone call from my beautiful Mama wishing me a Happy Birthday, singing to me, Making my day! She is the Rose of my heart……
I’ve the feeling we will Celebrate BIG once this Snow melts…
Hoping all are doing very well & staying warm where You are
Much Love, Prayers, Blessing
