Hey Larry  "L.D." here: Speaking of beer. We were up in Alaska, a while back, and kronk bought a six pack, or rather, a "variety six pack" of the local beer. Yuck! Out of the six, only one was "sorta" palatable. The other five bottles tasted like something that leaked out of a moose. Ugh!kronk---Hey! They were on sale. Did Hey Larry just mention "Christine?" "L.D."---I believe he did mention your favorite "beef and bean burrito eating cousin." kronk---Ummmpfh.....ummmpfh....RALPH...RALPH...RALPH....Ugh! ...L.D...I know the types of variety pack beers of which you speak. Sold as "craft" beers, these are what people with little imagination or lacking the desire to make an effort will usually purchase for me on birthdays or holidays. You try to go the highbrow route and claim them to be "interesting" or "full-bodied" when what you really mean is that you're only drinking them because you ran out of your normal brew and you're too lazy to peel yourself off the sofa and go to the store. I can probably tolerate Christine's malodorous ways if she'll agree to wear about a half dozen or so of those pine tree air fresheners. |
