Turbulent Waters of the heart,
Emotions of sadness and defeat.
Of weariness and much hurt,
Calmer waters I must greet.
Calmer Waters my soul is here,
Begging for peace so true.
The kind that I don't fear,
But the only kind I get with you.
Calmer Waters in my heart,
The calm your love brings.
Your love is a healing art,
My heart desires but to sing.
Turbulent Waters is what started,
Calming Waters is what you give.
Turbulence tries to keep us apart,
Calmness and peace I will live.
