Date: 11/26/2021 10:07:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435 Mr. Hekler E. Swalwell, here. The entity known, in certain circles, as "kronk" is, as I type this, enjoying his last meal and testament. (He made fun of the Speaker of the house of representatives of the United States of America, one too many times and was sentenced to be banished to The Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, for a period of time no less than 1095 days.) Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget to vote blue. (if there ever is another election.) |

...hey Swalwell...I baked this here cake for Kronk. Could you make sure he gets it? I also began a GoFundMe for his toilet needs while in lovely Bangladesh. Nancy Pelosi asked me to say hi. |

Hekler "L.D." here: I felt the need to "intercept" your correspondence to "Swalwell." My "services" have been retained by a certain secret organization; the ASPCCA. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Citizens and Animals) I also took possession of the cake you sent. Don't worry, I'll see that kronk gets it. I'm sure that he will find a use for "the items" you included. In fact: The X-ray machine shorted out, when we passed the cake through. Personally, I thought the C-4 and the brass knuckles were thoughtful, on your part. Especially since "The Enemy" has kronk detained at the "Sundarbans National Reserve Park," a mangrove swamp situated on the Ganges River Delta, close to Bangladesh's border with India. "They" have kronk in charge of feeding Bengal Tigers, Mugger Crocodiles and Freshwater Bull Sharks. Pretty hairy, for sure, but kronk's skill as a "whisperer" is somewhat helpful in his dealings with the tigers and bull sharks, but the crocodiles....well, you know what they say about reptiles. |
Date: 12/5/2021 8:23:00 AM From Authorid: 54570 Its belated but. Happy Thanksgiving. I was deep frying six turkeys. Temp was about 55 degrees with a clear blue sky. " Cujo " aka Sally was running around me feet barking wanting me to play. I cleaned Spots (salt water fish) and pressure washed oysters fresh from the sound. The kids woke up around 10 and proceeded to aggravate the dog-tar out of me till I loaded the birds up and dropped them off at the right houses. I kept three for my crowd. Ate Turkey at 12 and fish n oysters at 6. Then had a shrimp n grits breakfast with my brothers the next morning. And yes the whole time I was cooking and cleaning I had G-n-R and Skynryd playing. Rod was somewhere amongst the mix. Great memories. I do wished you wouldve been in a city right close to me. Would've offered you a room or a camper to sleep in and put you to work cleaning those fish and oysters or peeling and de-turding shrimp. Or worse. Baby-sitting the tribe! Five kids 10 and under, running screaming stealing hubcaps, dirty diapers, Paw Patrol or Pj Masks. Fun fun fun. Then in the afternoon when its dark set up the projecter and watch Christmas Vacation on the back of the house while eating. |
Date: 12/5/2021 4:22:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435 Smokin Joe Thanks and good to hear from you, brother. Sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving. A man's family is a priceless endowment. You really got my attention when you mentioned oysters. I love those, yes, I do. Flashed me back to my dredge boat days: Oyster reefs, off the South Pass of the Mississippi River, Mid October and "extremely" low tide....Walking out and gathering the bivalves, then sitting on the edge of a work barge, feet hanging over the side and slurping those babies down. "Cookie's" dipping sauce was to die for. I've already watched "Christmas Vacation," twice, so far. ... (I "always" "de-turd" my shrimp.) Take care of you and write on.... |
Date: 12/8/2021 3:58:00 PM From Authorid: 48250 Much Love Brother Kronk....hope You enjoyed Thanksgiving, there are times when I feel the need to write & write ......My Mama & I enjoyed a very nice Thanksgiving dinner, compliments of a Very nice Bob Evans Restaurant in our area....and plan a repeat for Christmas Eve although we would normally have our dinner on Christmas day.....the restaurant will be closed on Christmas day as it should be........I hold a very high regard for USM and its beautiful Angels, too!.....God Bless.....T/C >3 |
Date: 12/13/2021 5:47:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435 Kentucky Bluebird Sounds like you had a fine Thanksgiving, sister. "The gang" is due in on the eighteenth. Sangelina and I plan of whipping up two cauldron loads of "gumbo." One, chicken and sausage and one, seafood. The younger ones have been gathering the ingredients for "the drink of the day." Some highly alcoholic thing called a "hurricane." I'll stick with ice tea, myself. Take care of you, my friend. |
