It would take a major disaster of some sort to take USM down. We run this place because we love the people who come here. Even when it's a bit slow around here, there are still amazing people lurking. Glad to hear that you still like popping in and letting us know how your doing. Sorry to hear you caught Covid. Glad your pretty much over it. Our daughter caught it to, over a year ago and about 80% of her taste and smell have not returned yet. Your lucky its coming back nicely.  |

...I think that USM will always be here for us...in our memories. One thing I do appreciate is that the "USM Member for - - Years" counter has been halted at twenty years out of deference to the people that have been here either been here since youth or some of us that got in at a later age and chased all the kids off our lawn. Good to see you back!  |

It's been a little while since I had been here too but have been getting prepared for winter around here....It's also good to know that You have gotten over the covid & I hope & Pray those who have it now will be feeling much better, soon.....I had it last year before we even know what it was and so did my Mama------ I've been losing a lot of friends from my childhood,...not sure if some of it is from the covid...but do know that we recently have lost 2 from the other extremely ugly, ugly "c" word.... send that back to the devil from which it came......look forward to seeing you around more hopefully, TGF...as well as many others....Much Love, Hugs, Prayers to All >3....T/C  |

Welcome back! I just recently found my way back too after many years away. Yes the site is still here but it's much quieter now. Hardly anyone posting anything at all. Glad you recovered from COVID (mostly) My daughter still hasn't fully gotten her sense of smell back and it's been almost exactly a year since we got it.  |
