Sorry you got ripped off. But yeah, if it sounds too good to be true it is. That’s why I avoid any emails from Nigeria. |

...the guy that left the first comment here tried to sell me an old bridge last week. It sounded like a good deal at first but then he said it was located in London, England and couldn't be shipped. He said the reason he was selling is because the British people wouldn't let him visit it anymore with all this Covid stuff flying around and now he's forced to sell it before the Queen makes her move and repossesses it for nonpayment of property taxes. Being a British subject myself, we Canadians are always welcomed back to the Motherland with open arms and fruit baskets. Still, I had to say no because I tend to get violently homesick when I'm more than ten miles away from home and realized that the deal was no good for me. Too bad about the Switch though. Should have told him to send it postage due. |

Redeye007 You said it, brother. Once, I found the "boat of my dreams" for only 500 dollars. A person on the east coast, who was a captain in the armed forces, no less. All I had to do was send him cash and he would personally deliver the boat to me. (1800 miles away, even) I was about ready to pull the trigger when my associate slapped me upside my head and took away the checkbook. After that, I have come to the conclusion that there are "no" good deals to be had, anymore. Sometimes, life's lessons "come at a cost." Write on..... |

Date: 10/13/2021 9:57:00 AM From Authorid: 10657 That's certainly frustrating to say the least. I probably would've contacted the corporate office first before I sent money to someone. I mean if it's a gift that you won, the only person you need to pay is the IRS. |

Ugh! People suck! Içm sorry that happened to you. Crossing my fingers that you get your money back. |
Date: 11/22/2021 2:40:00 AM From Authorid: 19772 So sorry this happened to you. Some people are real jerks. I'm pretty sure we've all had something like this happen to us at some point on-line. I guess just feel lucky that it was only $70 and at least just consider it a lesson learned. |
