...did your mother give birth to an idjit? Who DOESN'T keep a good supply of fireworks in their vehicle in case of an unforeseen need for a celebration? I remember the time years ago when my thermostat wasn't working properly in winter so I just sparked up a couple of those fountain-type fireworks to get some heat happening. Had to crack the windows to let the smoke out but once the seat caught on fire, it was pretty toasty in there.  |

Hey Larry  Ugh! I've often heard folk say; "It ain't dangerous. It's just firecrackers." Well, that may be true, unless we're talking about thirty pounds worth. Personally, I think firework displays are a waste of perfectly good fireworks. I mean, anybody with any sense knows that the main function of fireworks is to bombard fire ant mounds and blow up mail boxes. Ugh! Some people!  |

...those dollar store cards are so insipid. To show them how much you truly care, send Hallmark. They can check out the $7.99 price point before they throw the card in the trash but at least they'll be impressed by how much you were willing to spend in an attempt to be added to the will as a beneficiary. Uncle Pete leaves you his beer can collection. Golly, that worked out well! |

...it's easy enough being the voice of reason. What people took exception to was me expressing my joy about them taking their kindly old granny to grab a jug of Thunderbird and the "Granny" turning out to be the wife. People are just too violent these days. |
