...it was about twelve or thirteen years ago. A rainy night and dark. I was waiting at a bus stop (for a bus that never came)and having a smoke inside the bus shelter. The bus stop was right beside a small mall and as I smoked, I noticed the figure of a man wearing a fedora walking towards me from the mall parking lot. The poor lighting at the time backlit the figure so all that I saw was a dark silhouette. Turning to extinguish my smoke (bus shelters are non-smoking), I turned around to see...nobody! Looking up and down the street also was unrewarding and I ven took a quick walk into the mall parking lot and still, nobody. If this was a rerson, they must have had a cloaking device or something as no ordinary walker could disappear so quickly and completely. Suffice to say, this was a very new experience for me. I was retelling this to Nani (Author 64365) when I got home and she didn't think I was nuts. I guess you can be a disbeliever as long as this kind of thing doesn't happen to you but when it does...  |
