A part of you does die every day
it disintegrates very slowly
food feeds only the flesh
it is truly the spirit that actually keeps our body alive
the soul requires the energy of the spirit
the soul is pure while the body is blemished

with dirty drugs and concrete dust the soul remains scarred
you cannot heal the soul with prayer and candles
