I enjoyed reading this post and intend to look into more stories on this subject. There's an unrelated creature of sorts that has been giving residents of Ontario, Canada problems since the late 1950's. It too is not one you want to approach for it has a foul disposition and an irritated bowl problem which emits an odor even demons flee from. |

...I too enjoy reading these types of folklore tales. I have recently read an account that stated that bowls in Ontario may become irritable. After preliminary investigation, I have found this to be a myth. No bowls, plates nor saucers have been found to show symptoms of a foul demeanor. However, there is a fairly well substantiated case of a being that resides in the environs of a state beginning with the letter "A" and ending with "sas" that apparently believes that it has a sense of humor (although I believe that those letters may have been subjected to a transposition over the course of time). It has somehow found reason to haunt the halls of USM. If you are very alert, you may see it. |

Clarification in regards to “ irritable bowl “. I’m not judging or anything here, I merely related said information from the Greater Ontario Chamber of Commerce brochure that was dated somewhere around 1957 or there about. Not knowing the customs of those that live there how was I supposed to know about bowls or angry flatware? I’m not taking part in today’s cancel culture over something that was printed a half century or more ago. If you want to have an argument with a so-called creature that can’t keep a clean house and throws fiery gift bags at any given moment, then more power to you. I bet Zema would be more accommodating in regards to the customs of Australia. |
