...good luck getting your car out of the shop without having to promise to donate an organ for transplant. It seems like repair prices have gone stellar since I was younger. Five dollar part costs seven hundred to install. As far as your abusive boss is concerned, is he this way with all the employees or is he singling you out for some reason? Sometimes a boss will be this way to a person if he's interested in them but wants to put on a facade for the other employees so they won't think he's playing favourites.  |

Long ago, in a time zone far-far away, I was depressed and things were not going well for me. Some elder person noticed this as I don’t hide my feelings, anyway, his words of wisdom were: “Cheer up! Things are bound to get worse!” Of course at the time I didn’t get the message and my response was a silent glare filled with daggers. Presently, I look back on that as a learning tool to cope with life and realize that life is a roller coaster with many ups and downs. But the important thing to remember is to enjoy the ride before the park is shut down.  |
