...Paul Revere...I can't say that I lose a lot of sleep at night (I don't get much anyway) worrying myself about the fact that something I've posted may be offensive to snowflakes. If my submissions have touched a nerve that deeply, perhaps it is up to the viewer to indulge in a little introspection and ask themselves why a simple post would bother them to such a degree. I do attempt to shy away from posting items that are overtly offensive and targeted these days. Nothing I submit is worlds away from what you might commonly find in any satirical media so if people find these posts to be offensive then they must also find television, newspapers, magazines and daily life offensive too. I do thank you for reading and I sincerely do apologize if there is an item posted that has caused you undue stress. |

Paul, it is very good to see you here. You have been with us a long time, and I'm sure you have seen us remove anything that shows outright hatred and bigotry. In religion and politics we hope to see good conversation on all sides of the issues. However when posts or comments get to pointed and lean toward hate and demeaning attitudes, we hope to curb it and redirect the conversation towards a healthy banter. These humorous posts have helped to break the icy glare of politics in this country. Much the same way as every late night talk show host does in their monologs. It is fun to have an occasional laugh at the absurdity of situations sometimes. I have constantly wondered how staunch supporters of Trump have been able to listen to Kimmel, Fallon and others, when 90% of their monologs are making fun of the latest tweets and stumbles. I'm sorry Paul if you have felt slighted when you read items here. I do wholeheartedly agree, please give us your side. I'm not a fan of blinders either.  |
