I agree with Hekler. One of the things about this website.....especially so many years and memories.....we may not have the pleasure to be there in person, but we can ....at the very least, express goodwill and know that you do have folks here that understand. There isa song by TheKinks called “Better Things”. If you wish, you can hear this tune on YouTube, it is inspiring. All the best CP, life is an adventure. And a rollercoaster. |
Date: 12/24/2020 8:45:00 PM From Authorid: 48250 Good evening Sweet darling....so good to see Your Pretty taggy....I'm with Heckler, Larry, we may not be together physically, but you are definitely in our thoughts...Prayers and You are very much Cared about! My dear I am spending both Christmas Eve & Christmas alone...and though it's unfortunate...I am making the best of the situation.....My immediate Family traveled South to be with their adult children, I rarely see any extended family, aunts uncles cousins... My Mother did not want to be "snowed--in" here at my cabin and I do mean "snowed--in" for not simply a couple days but for several days.....though it's beautiful and peaceful here, not every one enjoys the seclusion, remoteness of the location of my mountain home-----and it's still snowing!.....but I'm not completely alone, I have my Big Puppers here with me and my 2 little criminal kitty's lol enjoying Christmas movies...and hope to pick up some egg nog for New Year's next week (hopefully, if the snow stops!)----I'm very sorry family have not called but I'm hoping by now they have and are wishing You a very Merry Christmas!-----Just know that You are not really alone-----and there are those of us who are spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day alone too.......Much Love, Prayers....Blessings always! Date: 12/25/2020 12:03:00 PM From Authorid: 55251 Merry Christmas Celtic Princess. I think this holiday will be hard on everyone this year as many of us will be spending it away from friends and family, myself included. That being said, I am sorry that nobody reached out to check in on you. For what it's worth, I and the rest of USM are hoping that you are doing well and are able to make the best of the holiday season. I sincerely hope that you and your family will connect soon and remind each other how much you mean to one another. |

I was so sad that I did not receive calls or acknowledgement from my grandkids on Christmas. ANd, am so grateful for my son and having him in my life. Our family has always been small, and with the loss of Gina, some years ago (7) it became even smaller. I guess it is my fault that the grandkids don't call, or I guess they were just busy with their own kids. I know it is a crazy time on Christmas morning and day. But, a call and a Merry Christmas, Grandma, surely would have been nice. I might add that my grandchildren are scattered and not in town, so it is not their fault. Just sad. Glad to be back, Lightworker |
