...Hi Arion! My eyes must be worse than I thought. I totally missed seeing your post and it was right there in front of me. Good to see you back again! I know what it's like when the company makes your position redundant. The place I was working was bought out by a competitor and they already had enough staff. They were mainly in it to get the contracts we had with some of the major advertisers. Everybody got shown to the door within two weeks and a select few were hired back on a freelance basis. Still, it was sort of refreshing to get out of there as the place had become highly politicized over the years and had become a brown-nosers paradise. You are lucky in that your wife has her benefits package. That in itself is a minor gold mine. Good luck to you in finding a new position. This plague can't go on forever. |
