CROCKPOT SAUSAGE AND GREEN BEANS

6 medium potatoes peeled and diced
1 pound Kielbasa sausage sliced
1 pound fresh green beans, washed stems and strings removed
13.5 ounces chicken broth, canned or homemade, slow sodium preferred
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
1 clove garlic minced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Prepare ingredients by peeling and dicing potatoes, slicing the kielbasa sausage and trimming the green beans.

Add all ingredients to a 4 quart or larger slow cooker and stir to combine.

Cover and coo on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until the potatoes are fork tender.

Serve.


Makes 6 servings.

...I was going to say that I rarely eat most types of sausage any more because of something that happened when I was younger but I see that you're using Kielbasa sausage which I absolutely love.
I know you're living not too distant from where I do (at least you weren't 10 years ago) and can suggest the purveyor of the BEST kielbasa to be had anywhere.

It's a small shop in Grimsby Ontario that goes by the name of Viks meats. The owner makes it himself, nicely (but subtlety) spiced and NO gristle as can be found in the major brands.

I stop in there EVERY time I head out through that area. It's my special treat to myself.

...if you haven't guessed, I DETEST gristle. Farmers sausage is my Achilles heel.
