...What is: The end of an era

As most of you may now know, Alex Trebek passed away yesterday at the age of 80.

It makes a person feel quite old when you can recall his debut on Jeopardy; some young guy with the 80's look.

I never watched too much television and these days, extremely little.
II wouldn't be prey for serial television shows, trashy "reality" programming and most of the shows networks and cable are attempting to pass off as sitcoms.

However, I almost always managed to have the set on Monday through Friday at 7:30 PM to catch Jeopardy.

Even when I was a kid, my Dad watched the show when Art Fleming was hosting and it was a sort of bond that never died.

I'm sure the show will go on and hope against hope that the producers don't hire someone like Carrot Top or
another -person equally reprehensible like some former President, although I'm pretty sure that that decision would create
a whole new fan base from the trailer park crowd, moonshiners, crack addicts and draft evaders.

...animation looks fine on my desktop but when I checked it out on the tablet...ACK!
It's a pretty big file. Sorry peps.

Date: 11/9/2020 5:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 5940    I always liked the show because it made you think and you were always learning something new. On rare occasions I did pretty good with certain categories....The 3 Stooges,Looney Tunes, and history. But when it came to string theory or quantum physics or how to become Walter White then I’m lost. But Alex was great and had a good sense of humor , per all the cameos he appeared in over the years.

...a Canadian that hosted a game show that asked stimulating questions?
That would depend on which sector of the populace you might be referring to.
If you're talking about Republican voters, then I'd have to say "Let's Make a Deal"
with Monte Hall. Stimulating questions like: "do you want what's in the box or whatever
is behind the curtain?"

Otherwise, I don't know. That question was too stimulating. Now I'm not celibate anymore.

...if I keep taking shots at Republican voters, I could be in big trouble.
They'll send a thuggery of Proud Boys to get me. Still, I'm feeling pretty
safe until someone teaches them how to read a map.

By the way, what is the correct term for a group of Proud Boys?
You know, like a murder of crows or a gaggle of geese. I'm stumped.

Date: 11/9/2020 6:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 5940    Monte Hall is the spawn of evil. Bob Barker would kick the behind
OF game host’s in general. Trump and what’s behind door number 3?
Why it’s Kim Jung Un ..
Or is it Kim Kartrashian?
Well..all of it deserves a good thrashing.

...Monte Hall would neuter Bob Barker!

The Proud Boys? Looks like they'll be getting their jobs at Wal Mart and
the D.O.T. pretty soon if the vaccine comes through.

No offense to other Wal Mart or D.O.T. employees was intended.

Hi Lil Wolf! Thanks for your reply. I guess that show you mentioned was similar to a show
called "Reach For the Top" that used to air in this neck of the woods. Similar format.

College/University teams vying against one another and yes, the questions WERE difficult.
