...Yoke of the week

I didn't want to infringe upon Hey Larry's turf by posting a joke of the week and since I hadn't seen one this week, I figured he had been too busy to post one.

Probably hard at work on his Hallowe'en costume:

I wanted to do something in a similar vein but all I could come up with is this:

Hekler's Yoke of the week

So, here it is:

Just look at the craftsmanship!

In case you didn't know:

A yoke is a wooden beam normally used between a pair of oxen or other animals to enable them to pull together on a load when working in pairs, as oxen
usually do; some yokes are fitted to individual animals. There are several types of yoke, used in different cultures, and for different types of oxen.

You could also use this if you were going out drinking with a buddy on a foggy night, just so you didn't get lost on the way home.

...I haven't been around much either. I sometimes get caught up in a few good books or feeling blah.
So you liked a young Batman and Gary Coleman. Odd choices but hey. we all have an opinion.

...I was always the security guy in the red shirt from Star Trek when I was younger.
These days, I'm leaning more towards Fred Sanford although I'd like to be Cinderella.

Date: 11/1/2020 5:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 5940    Hey! Didn’t those red shirt fellows get killed off in the first landing on a strange planet? I can picture you owning a salvage yard, thrift shop, or antique shop. The only difference is the mark up. As far as Cinderella.....do they still hold debutant soirées?
Date: 11/2/2020 6:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hekler It certainly was a rough Halloween season, this year. I opened the door to give candy and was immediately hit with four hard boiled goose eggs. (Must have been some honkers, `cause those eggs were huge.) I tried to sic the dog on `em, but all he wanted to do was sing "How lonely is the night," and scratch himself. Oh, well...I guess the "yoke" was on me....Write on..
Date: 11/3/2020 3:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 5940    That’s exactly why I wear a suit of armor, accompanied by a tennis racket with elastic strings.
Date: 11/3/2020 7:04:00 AM  From Authorid: 21435    Hey Larry Times have changed since I went trick or treating. When I went, I was afraid of the people that opened the door.
Date: 11/3/2020 5:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 5940    I understand...and now be even more afraid of people in general, especially Canadian yokels.
