What a glorious, sunny day in December
People wearing bathing suits and active wear...walking in the Plaza
Tables on the sidewalk for drinks and food
People laughing and smiling creating such a festive mood
The band plays in Johnny Browns
The bartender pours me another round
My head spins as the cops pass through town
Golf carts, convertibles and luxury cars drive up and down
The activity of life on the Avenue stimulates the brain
With each step...I am completely taken away
From the pain and stress of my yesterday
I tune out the gossips nouns and verbs
As I am now happily labeled...A Florida Snowbird
