I am enjoying the sunshine walking along the endless trails
Artists peddle their wares, pictures on canvas of multicolored fairy tales

The colors draw me closer to the sales pitch
Lovers pause for their romantic kiss

Bike riders walk and little children run
Tourists sip their coffee in the afternoon sun

The trumpet player plays a sad song that even the birds cry
The dog walker has seven dogs, one with no eyes

The blond women smiles as she texts her thoughts to her cell phone
All these people pass by me...yet no one says hello

Someone needs a smile...I know someone needs a hug
Landing on my nose, the red and black dotted Ladybug

I see the squirrels jumping through the leaves
The Buddhist stops and tries to sell me his beads

A man uses two sticks and string to blow giant bubbles
An accountant tells his client about his tax troubles

The young girl puts on her lipstick and dangles her keys from a rope
I will definitely return tomorrow, the park activity offers me hope
