Question about hexes??

  Author:  6731  Category:(Discussion) Created:(8/15/2020 2:26:00 PM)

Ok, so my 18yr old son just (literally 5 minutes ago) asked me about hexes. As in bad mojo hexes. Apparently an old girlfriend may have hexed him in a video on SnapChat and he's a little freaked. All we know for sure is a name was burned on paper, with black candles and such (not entirely sure on that)

Of course this would happen as he falls ill with a stomach bug, so he is really starting to think there may be something to this. His friends (helpfully) told him that this happened last night, sick today...I can see the worry for him, but honestly I don't really think it's related. I had an ex boyfriend who swore his other ex was going to curse me with a death curse back in the day and I'm still kicking.

So my 1st question is: How seriously should we be taking this? I was always under the assumption that hexes/curses can't really do anything if you don't believe in them. This is a problem for my son because he is freaked.

2nd question: How to remove said hex without knowing exactly what was said or used?

I wouldn't normally even reach out, except he is pretty weirded out about this and looking for advise I simply do not have.

Love and hugs

...I'm hardly an authority on hexes (or anything else) but from what I've read,
the fear in believing that you have been hexed is, in some populations, enough to
cause the "hexed" person to develop psychosomatic illness.

Date: 8/16/2020 9:55:00 AM  From Authorid: 5940    I have no belief in hexes or superstitions.....having said that I put all my trust into one day winning the lottery. Ok, having said that, in all honesty I feel it is a lot like the Stevie Wonder song titled "Very Superstitious ".

...he won't win the lottery. I put a hex on him.

...WRONG! It'll work for any lottery in the British Commonwealth so don't buy that ticket for the Irish Sweepstakes.

...Yep, HL, there is an Irish Sweepstakes.
At one time, you could win a lot of bucks but now they pay out in automatic weapons and IEDs.
Still, you never know when someone might try to break into your house.

...those weren't androids, just 7th Day Adventists.
(apologies to all you 7th Day Adventists. Get a job)
