New Years Resolution

Now they say your going up to heaven, then your going down to hell
That religious class you took in the past, just a mistake they were trying to sell

Because with every year comes wisdom and with every tear you feel the pain
Than depression hits along with anxiety fits, too many drugs absorbed in the brain

But what do we get? Yes, what do we get? Scrambled eggs for breakfast and violent protests for lunch
A pay for play smorgasbord for dinner and another episode of the Brady Bunch

I want to lose weight, my new years resolution
Try to follow the laws and abide by the Constitution
Massage parlors selling prostitution
Haters promoting revolution
Environmental pollution
I will just keep praying for a solution
