Men paid with their lives all those years ago So we can travel back and forth, people on its sidewalk, cars and trucks along it's road
The winds whistle through the arches of stone And where the pigeons now call their home
On one side of the bridge there is a town known as the Big Apple, on the other side they are known for it's Brooklyn Bums You know, the baseball team that left for L.A. and the Hollywood sun
Have you figured out the name by now? Stop your searching for more information, just stop your looking It's the bridge that is admired by many, a bridge known by no other name - Brooklyn!
