...but, if the U.S drops it's penny, will the outcome be major civil unrest (read  iots) asstores round off to the nearest nickel? I can see it happening. Eventually, North Korea or Mexico will have to take the blame. That's just the way it is in Trumpland. |

I am sorry to report the truth. Human decency, common sense and moral conduct are officially extinct in our society from the barrage of tolerance and the laying down and dying attitude of those that seem to be a part of it all. Those of us who still at least partially make these qualities a part of our daily routines are nearly extinct now as well. I think I understand more than ever why my father said "the whole world has gone to earthly hell"  |

...Hey Scarecrow! Thanks for dropping by! I agree with you (and your dad) about the degradation of ideals in society today. As kids, we were expected to have good manners and be courteous (the lack of which always brought the wrath of parent) and to be helpful to others when help was required or requested. I guess every generation will look back and reminisce about how much better things were in "The Olde Days" but, as a truth, they really were better. Very few people these days has the time or the inclination to give a darn about things from which they will see gain of some sort. |
